My sister Judy (Gossett) and I were talking about DB just before Christmas, how much we love her, how much we love her music. Now she is face-to-face with the inspiration of her music -- what a privilege! I hope she and our Mother have a good long talk together. 2000 began with the death of our dear friends, Joe & Linda Knight (Alaska Airlines crash), and ends with the passing of our dear friend, DB. Kind of makes you want to go Home too ... Much love to all of DB's family, and many prayers for strength and joy in the days to come. Jeanne Halsey, Blaine, Washington
