Sister Danniebelle has truly blessed my life. Indeed, her two songs, "I GO TO THE ROCK," and "IN HIM WE MOVE" are the only two songs I have song as solos over the last fifteen years. Indeed, one of my favorite memories involve one of her songs. I was not blessed with a good voice, but sometimes I can fake it. One time I had to fake it was in Nairobi, Kenya. I was there on a fellowship and had joined the choir of a Pentecostal Church. I was called on by the African-American expatriate there to sing to demonstrate the cadence etc. of African-American gospel singing. I was terrified but I prayed in obedience. I chose Danniebelle's "In Him We Move" and wouldn't you know I sung so beautifully that day (better than I had before or since) and more importantly people were touched by it (rather than recoiled by my voice.).
I will always be grateful to Danniebelle for having sung that song and shown me how a song is to be sung. Her unique style and delivery will live forever. For the Bible teaches, "what you do for Christ will last!"
I am praying for her family. Know that the good work that the Lord only begun in her will be carried forth in you. You (along with her music and her ministry) are her legacy.
