Danniebelle is a name that is so linked to my childhood. As a toddler, my mother reared me on the music of Andrae Crouch which is, of course, synonymous with Danniebelle. I remember seeing her in concert with the Disciples when I was three or four years old...and the magic of her voice captivating the arena. I also remember the excitement that I felt when we purchased the "Live In Sweden" and "Let Me Have A Dream" recordings...and how they were staples in the collection. And then I remember the meaning in the music changing for me when I reached my teenage years...and purchasing "Designer's Original" and being touched in that special way all over again. Danniebelle's passing really hit me hard because I always felt that I was supposed to meet her...and I didn't get to. Thank you so much Cynthia for keeping the site opening...and allowing the spirit behind your mother's music (Holy Spirit) to touch us all as we remember an anointed vessel whom the Lord used so mightily. Thank you for letting the legacy carry on...
