Jesus 1975, Morgantown, PA, It was the first Jesus festival I attended. So many wonderful things happened at that festival. I was a 25 year old white male who came to hear Tom Skinner. The climax of the festival was Andrae Crouch and the Disciples. Later I purchased the album "Take Me Back" I believe Danniebelle was with the Disciples then. Later I heard her at the Jesus Festivals at Agape Farm in PA. I traveled to Eastern College to hear her in the gymnasium. The last time I saw Danniebelle was in a church in Philly. The people were kind to the "only white face in the audience." I can honestly say that I experienced the love of God through Danniebelle. I have many of her albums on vinyl. Often I would ask for her music at Christian bookstores but was disappointed to find that her work was out of print. A year ago I found a tape in a used music store. I purchased the three copies and gave two of them away to friends. When I saw her recent CD (a reprint of some of her earlier work) I was delighted. It was then that I discovered that I would neither hear her in concert nor enjoy the encouragement and comfort she gave to everyone she became acquainted with on this earth. When I saw her at Eastern I was so lucky to express my thanks to her personally. I was sad to lose a friend. But I didn't really lose her, I have no doubt that Danniebelle is more alive than when she walked this earth. When I enter C. S. Lewis's wardrobe and enter a new heaven and earth I will once again hear her praise her lord and Creator. I can hear her in concert with Johann Bach, Charles Wesley, Keith Green, all praising His Majesty Jesus Christ.. Oh the wedding of the Lamb..what a reception and concert that will be..Thanks Danniebelle, Thank you Jesus for bringing a precious loving lady into my life to show me your love and forgiveness. In Christ, Clint (A City On A Hill)
